Position Descriptions

Serving in a position of responsibility within the Troop provides both Scouts and Adult Volunteers with leadership development opportunities.

Youth Positions of Responsibility

Achieving the rank of Star and higher requires that Scouts serve in positions of responsibility within the troop.  Scouts can acquire many of these positions by a vote of their peers at the first meeting of the scouting year in August.

Adult Positions of Responsibility

The Troop Committee and Adult Leaders are a diverse group of adult volunteers who serve in leadership roles related to mentoring the scouts, administering the troop, overseeing fundraisers, coordinating troop activities, and more.

Please see the roster (sign-in required) for current youth and adult position holders.
