Webelos and Parents – Join Troop 333 for their Annual Webelos Campout and Turkey Roast
When: Webelos I and II and their parents are welcome to join Troop 333 at noon on Saturday. Webelos II and their parents may stay the night at camp (separate sleeping quarters are required for moms – please inform the Scoutmaster when submitting an RSVP). Troop 333 members should plan to arrive at 5pm on Friday.
What: Have fun, learn new skills, find out about Troop 333’s Boy Scouting program
Where: Camp Manatoc See the camp map.
Activities: Skills stations, hiking, deep fry fest, turkey dinner and fixings (cooked over a campfire), and an evening campfire program led by Troop 333 scouts.
Cost: Free for all participants (cabin fees and food for the weekend will be provided by Troop 333).
Food: Troop 333’s November Turkey Feast will be provided for everyone on Saturday night; a light breakfast will be available Sunday morning for those camping out. Friday night snacks, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be provided for Troop 333 members.
Bring:
- Class A or Class B Troop 333 (yellow) t-shirt
- Sleeping bag and pad
- Sweatshirt, gloves, hat and other appropriate clothing for the weather (see the Gear Checklist (pdf) for details)
- Rain gear (2 piece jacket and pants or a good poncho)
- Hiking boots (think wet and muddy) and an extra pair of dry shoes
- Mess kit
- Water bottle
- Toiletries (e.g., toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, hand towel)
- Flashlight
- Scout handbook
